The International Association of Credit Portfolio Managers has tapped Som-lok Leung, senior director at Moody's KMV, as executive director. The buy-side trade group has been seeking a leader since late last year, when the former executive director, Michael Robinson, told attendees at the IACPM's annual meeting he would be leaving his post (BW, 1/24).
The IACPM, which was formed in 2001 to promote the interests of credit investors, plans to announce the appointment this week. In his role at Moody's KMV, Leung was responsible for sales and client services for investors in the Northeastern part of the U.S. Previously, he held credit risk positions at Nomura Securities International and UBS.
