Beau Cummins, head of investment-grade and liquid products origination at Banc of America Securities in New York, starts next month at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey as a senior managing director. At SunTrust, Cummins will run all debt origination and trading, as well as foreign exchange and derivatives. Hugh Suhr, spokesman for SunTrust, confirmed the hire but declined to provide further information given Cummins has not yet started. Louise Hennessy, spokeswoman for BofA, said a replacement for Cummins has not been announced.
