Sheila Finnerty, formerly managing director and fund manager at Morgan Stanley Investment Management, has left to join Liberty Mutual. A Morgan Stanley Investment Management spokesman confirmed her departure. The high-yield team will remain in tact and Gordon Loery, executive director and formerly co-head of the group with Finnerty, will become the sole head of the group.
In 2004, Finnerty became the co-head, with Loery, of the high-yield team. She had previously served as a co-head of the senior loan group as well as a high-yield analyst. She joined Morgan Stanley in 1993. Before that she worked at Bernstein Macaulay and Presidential Life Insurance.
