ABN AMRO hired Siobhan Morden as a sovereign and local debt market strategist for Latin America.

ABN AMRO hired Siobhan Morden as a sovereign and local debt market strategist for Latin America. She will be responsible for analyzing investment grade and sub-investment grade sovereign debt in the area. She will be working with Mario Masquita, chief emerging markets economist, Fernando Losada, senior emerging markets economist, and Greg Anderson, senior foreign exchange strategist. Globally, she reports to Graham McDevitt.

She joined from Wachovia Securities, which recently shut down its emerging markets group, she said. Previously, Morden worked at Santander and JPMorgan.
