Pirate Capital has hired Glenn Haberfield as a fixed-income trader. Haberfield is a 17-year veteran of the business, previously working at Tradition-Asiel Securities, First Brokers Securities, and Merrill Lynch. At Merrill, he worked on the high-yield trading desk for over 12 years with Pirate founder Tom Hudson. Calls to Pirate were not returned by press time.
