Deutsche Bank has hired Brian Goldberg from Goldman Sachs to be a v.p. in high-yield capital markets reporting to David Flannery.

Deutsche Bank has hired Brian Goldberg from Goldman Sachs to be a v.p. in high-yield capital markets reporting to David Flannery. He joined the bank last Monday. A Deutsche Bank spokesman confirmed the hire. Goldberg previously worked at Deutsche Bank before he moved to Goldman a few years ago. Other hires are expected in the leveraged finance area. Flannery was traveling and could not be reached for comment.

Shames-Maude Tapped As New Citadel CLO Manager

Lee Shames-Maude is now the portfolio manager for Citadel Investment Group's collateralized loan obligations. She reports to Joe Russell, head of fundamental credit, who oversees the other portfolios. A Citadel spokesman confirmed Shames-Maude is the portfolio manager of the CLOs, but would not comment on the timing of the move. Shames-Maude declined comment.

She joined Citadel in November, but not as a portfolio manager (CIN, 11/18). She previously worked at Katonah Capital, now Katonah Debt Advisors, as a senior analyst and principal. She left Katonah June 30.
