Société Générale has hired two more veterans for its loan sales team as it continues to build up its leveraged finance capability. John Gorham joins as a director and Roxana Pechero as a v.p. Both report to Terry Sanabria, managing director and head of loan sales and trading within the firm's U.S. debt capital markets group. Gorham and Pechero were not available for comment.
Gorham previously worked at UBS, reporting to Kevin Latimer, managing director and head of U.S. par loan sales. He left UBS in April (CIN, 4/10). Pechero joined from BNP Paribas, where she focused on loan origination, structuring and distribution.
In April, Société Générale hired Michael Finkelman from BNP Paribas to head its leveraged finance business in the U.S. He reports to Powell Robinson, head of financing for the Americas, and to Rene de Laigue, head of leveraged and acquisition finance (4/30).
The firm appointed Neil Parekh, global head of high-yield finance, who will serve as the head of the U.S. debt capital markets group. He reports to Paolo Taddonio, head of debt finance in the Americas (6/12).
