UBS has hired James Trefry, a Deutsche Bank loan salesman, to join its distressed loan trading desk. Trefry will be a distressed debt trader at the bank and will report to Steve Rielly, head of loan trading. It is unclear when Trefry will start at UBS. A UBS spokesman declined comment. It is unclear who will replace Trefry at Deutsche Bank.
