Goldman Sachs has hired Kevin Lockhart from Morgan Stanley as a managing director in leveraged finance. Lockhart is currently on gardening leave and is expected to start this summer. It is unclear whom he will report to. A Goldman Sachs spokesman declined comment.
At Morgan Stanley he was a healthcare banker, but had previously been in leveraged finance. He reported to Alan Jones, who runs the corporate finance group. A Morgan Stanley spokesman confirmed that Lockhart is leaving but could not comment on a replacement.
