The U.K.'s Financial Services Authority has chosen to use Markit's credit data services for research and regulatory compliance purposes. Under the terms of the agreement, the regulator of the U.K.'s financial services industry will gain access to Markit's benchmark credit default swap pricing, its reference entity database and its portal.
