Ares Management Ltd., the European office of Ares Management, added four pros to its European leveraged credit team. The firm first announced it was opening its European business led by Miles Alexander, who joined from General Electric, in June (CIN, 6/9).
The firm hired Ross Code from the structured finance group at GMAC Commercial Finance and Nina Brauer from Allied Irish Bank's leveraged finance group. Brian Schuring transferred from the Los Angeles office where he worked in the capital markets group and Lauren Ferstandig moved from Ares' New York office where she worked in the private debt group. Other hires are expected in the coming months.
The London office will be working with David Sachs, co-head of Ares Capital Markets Group in Los Angeles, on collateralized loan obligations, as well as with Michael Arougheti, president of Ares Capital Corp., on leveraged opportunities across the capital structure. Sachs was traveling and could not be reached.
