Deutsche Bank hiredTed Hsueh, a former Merrill Lynch ABS banker, as v.p.for its asset-backed group's home equity division in New York. He will report to Nita Cherry, managing director and Peter Cerwin, director, who both report to the U.S. head of the asset securitization group, Richard D'Albert. Hsueh will replace former v.p. Lisa McLean, who is no longer with the bank.
Prior to joining Deutsche Bank, Hsueh worked for a year with a dot-com, which he declined to name. Before the dot-com venture, he was v.p. of securitization of home equity products with Merrill Lynch, where he worked for nine years, reporting to both Robert Diorio, director, and Andrew Peisch, co-head of the group. Hsueh says his new job with Deutsch Bank is an opportunity to return to the financial world and to develop his home equity securitization expertise.
