Cantor Fitzgerald has hired three more members to its expanding debt capital markets group. Frank Monteleone, Steve Twersky and Bill Lawhorn are all based out of Cantor's office in Memphis, Tenn. The firm opened that office late last year (CIN, 10/21).
Lawhorn has been hired as a managing director responsible for expanding the firm's agency business and heading all Memphis-based trading. Monteleone, a senior v. p. of agency trading, reports directly to Lawhorn. Twersky has been hired as a senior v.p. of the financial services business and reports to Scott Gruber, managing director, according to a spokesman. Twersky is responsible for developing various institutional services that include portfolio analytics, total return swaps and financial strategies.
