* Portfolio manager Sheila Finnerty of Morgan Stanley Prime Income Trust has joined Gordon Loery as co-head of the high yield team for Van Kampen Investments. Calls to Finnerty and Loery were not returned immediately.
*Fitch Ratings has affirmed seven classes of notes issued by Indosuez Capital Funding VI, a collateralized debt obligation that invests in leveraged loans and high-yield bonds. The fund is managed by Indosuez Capital's Paul Travers and Charles Kobayashi.
Although the portfolio has experienced some ratings migration due to downgrades of individual securities and adverse selection created by loan amortization, the senior overcollateralization levels are stable, notes Fitch. Last year Indosuez sold $251 million of par value and purchased $426.5 million of par value deals, with the difference mainly consisting of loan prepayments. Travers did not return calls.
