Laurie Zeller, portfolio manager at Fannie Mae in Washington, will leave the firm to join Bear Stearns as a managing director in New York. She will work as a product manager on the collateralized mortgage obligation and pass-through desks and report to Joshua Weintraub and Jim Egan, head of CMOs and sales, respectively. Zeller, who starts next week, did not return a call. Weintraub declined comment. Jason Lobo, Fannie Mae spokesman, also declined comment.
