Bear Stearns and Wachovia Securities are leading an $80 million "B" loan for Kelso & Co. portfolio company, Federal IT. Pricing has not been set, but the company will be leveraged about 3.7 times. A meeting is set for Tuesday in New York. Federal is an information technology business and is a provider to the intelligence and defense sectors. It is buying a company in a similar sector, according to a loan banker.
