Mortgage slowdown drives Dutch RMBS supply concerns

Dutch mortgage origination slowed in March, accentuating supply concerns for RMBS hungry investors, and shining a spotlight on competition for Dutch mortgage collateral.

According to figures from The Association of Real Estate Brokers (NVM), the number of housing transactions is still increasing, but the pace of growth is slowing. The association attributes the decline to the stock of homes available for purchase.
