Morgan Keegan Adds Derivative Trader To MBS Roster

BondWeek is the leading news publication for fixed-income professionals, covering new deals, structures, asset-backed securities, industry and market activity.

Morgan Keegan has added David Randle, a mortgage-backed securities pro most recently at Nomura Securities International, to trade MBS derivatives with a focus on new issues. His position is a newly created one and he started last Monday. Randle was off the desk and unavailable to comment. He will report to MBS desk chief Chris Perkins, who was not in the office last Friday. One former colleague of Randle's says "he is one helluva sharp guy who took some time off, hung out in the Adirondacks and ran marathons. He should do really well for them."

Randle worked at Nomura Securities International until the Spring of 2000 on the collateralized mortgage obligation desk where he traded derivatives and reported to section chief Charles Smart. Prior to joining Nomura in 1998, he worked at Prudential Securities.
