Tiago Parente, a European banks analyst, has joined Royal Bank of Scotland in London, says Sean Campbell, a RBS spokesman. Parente hails from Bear Stearns' European credit research team in London where he had also been covering the banking sector. At RBS, Parente will be working alongside Karin Cunningham who is responsible for insurance coverage. Parente's starting date at RBS has not yet been determined. Calls to a spokesman at Bear Stearns to determine Parente's replacement, if any, were not returned.
