CDC Ixis Capital Markets has hired Anthony Whittaker to head up its U.K. and Ireland fixed-income sales effort. Whittaker joined from Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein earlier this month where he had been a director running the U.K. structured credit sales team.
In his new role, Whittaker says he has been mandated to create a fixed-income distribution team for the U.K. and Ireland. He will focus on asset-backed securities and structured credit and report to Thierry Guinard, global head of fixed-income sales. At DrKW, Whittaker has been replaced by Matt White, says a firm spokeswoman. White reports to Raffaele Ricci head of structured credit sales.
