William Lloyd, head of securitization research at Barclays Capital in London, is leaving the firm. Lloyd says he is joining Bridgewater Associates in Westport, Conn. His responsibilities at Barclays are being divided up and assigned to existing staff members. Bridgewater is a global investment manager with $40 billion under management. Gary Jenkins, global head of credit research, will assume responsibility for securitization research. Stephan Flagel, a director in the global research division, will take on the global indices role. Lloyd was also Barclays' representative to the iboxx consortium. That role will be taken by Neil Cummins, head of managing sales relationships with premier clients.
