Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein has reshuffled its London-based securitization and financial institutions groups. Nick Morgan, formerly head of the asset-backed and collateralized debt obligation syndicate, has become co-head of capital markets origination for the financial institutions group. The other co-head is Olivier Jalouneix, who joined DrKW in May from Morgan Stanley, where he was head of equity capital markets origination for European financial institutions. Fraser Malcolm, formerly DrKW's head ABS trader, is moving up to head ABS and CDO syndication and trading, a new role.
A DrKW spokeswoman says the reorganization is part of the firm's overall strategy to better align its corporate finance and capital markets businesses. John Matthews, who had been co-head of capital markets origination for the financial institutions along with Jalouneix, is moving to a new role in strategic capital advisory for core financial institution clients. All moves are effective immediately.
