WestLB has hired a new head of credit sales in its financial markets division in London. Anthony Brown joins from BNP Paribas and will report to Nigel Denison, managing director and London head of sales in the global financial markets division, says John Godfrey, a WestLB spokesman. It could not be learned if the spot is a newly created one.
At Paribas, Brown worked on the U.K. credit sales desk and reported to Mark Goldman, head of European bond sales, says Edwina Frawley, a Paribas spokeswoman. She says there are no immediate plans to replace Brown.
