Rahul Parulekar has left Bear Stearns in New York where he was an adjustable-rate mortgage strategist and has started in a similar role in structured finance research at Citigroup Global Markets. Parulekar declined to comment and Dale Westhoff, head of mortgage-backed securities research at Bear Stearns, did not return calls.
In his new role, Parulekar is a strategist on ARMs, non-agency ARMs and collateralized mortgage obligations, according to an e-mail he sent to investors. It could not be determined to whom he will report in the new role and Danielle Romero-Apsilos, spokeswoman at Citigroup, did not return calls.
