Fitch Ratings has added three senior professionals to its residential mortgage-backed securities group in New York, according to Joanne Sokolowski, managing director in-charge of the structured finance and residential mortgage group.

Fitch Ratings has added three senior professionals to its residential mortgage-backed securities group in New York, according to Joanne Sokolowski, managing director in-charge of the structured finance and residential mortgage group. They are replacements for analysts who left the rating agency.

Mark Douglass, from Security Guaranty Holdings, joined last Monday as senior director, head of modeling research and the credit risk oversight group in the New York office and will report to both Sokolowski and Steve Grundleger, also a managing director. Douglass was the chief operating officer for structured products at SGH.

Also joining are Peter Dizdar and Darren Becker. Dizdar also started last Monday and Becker starts today. Dizdar is an associate director in the prime ratings bond group and will report to Cheryl Glory, managing director in structured finance and residential mortgages. He was previously with Bank of New York. Becker, who is also from BNY, joins as a director in the prime ratings bond group and also reports to Glory.

Sokolowski said Fitch is also looking to hire a senior director to head the performance analytics group and a director in the sub-prime ratings group.
