Michael Youngblood, head of mortgage-backed securities research at GMAC-RFC Securities, is expected to join Friedman, Billings, Ramsey & Co. in a fixed-income research role. Lauren Burk, FBR spokeswoman in Arlington, Va., declined comment. Youngblood's exact role in the firm could not be determined and he could not be reached by press time. Youngblood left his post at GMAC-RFC's office in Bethesda, Md., earlier this month (BW, 7/12).
