The Loan Market Association elected a new chairman last week. Kim Humphreys, Mizuho Corporate Bank, replaces Tim Ritchie, who stepped down after nine years in the position. Ian Fisher, Société Générale, and Christopher Porter, Royal Bank of Scotland, were re-elected as vice chairmen.
"I am delighted to have been elected chairman of the LMA and look forward to building on the strong platform delivered under Tim Ritchie's chairmanship," Humphreys said by email. "The loan market today is unrecognizable to where it was nine years ago and the LMA has played a significant role in shaping the current face of the loan market."
Along with Humphreys, Ritchie and Fisher, the board consists of: Timothy Alexander, UBS; Simon Allocca, BNP Paribas; Richard Basham, Citigroup; Michael Constant, Natexis Banques Populaires; David Fewtrell, HSBC Bank; Alison Jenkins, Bank of America; Robert Lepone, Morgan Stanley; Myles Llewellyn-Jones, KBC Bank; Thomas Mulligan, Commerzbank; Gary O'Connor, Bank of Scotland; Vijay Rajguru, Barclays Capital; James Repard, JPMorgan; Christopher Shawyer, Lloyds TSB Bank; David Slade, Credit Suisse First Boston; and Nicholas Voisey, National Australia Bank.
