Harris Nesbitt, the U.S. investment and corporate banking division of BMO Financial Group, has hired Eric Schubert as managing director and head of structured finance. Schubert will be reporting to Surjit Rajpal, head of loan products. Schubert began work at Harris Nesbitt on Nov. 14. He could not be reached for comment last week.
Schubert is a 25- year veteran of investment and corporate banking at Bank of America. At B of A, Schubert was a managing director specializing in leveraged and complex financings. While at B of A, Schubert and his team provided structuring and syndication expertise to B of A's middle market banking groups on the West Coast and in the Midwest. Calls to Harris Nesbitt were not returned by press time Wednesday.
