Hiram Hamilton, executive director and former co-head of European collateralized debt obligations at Morgan Stanley in London, is expected to leave the firm. About 100 European structured credit officials were put at risk last month as part of a 300-person cull for structured credit losses. Officials familiar with the move said Hamilton remains on payroll but has been replaced; they declined to say by whom. Hamilton could not be reached at Morgan Stanley and officials declined to give his personal contact information. He reported to Neil Servis, head of European CDOs, who was unavailable for comment. Carlos Melville, Morgan Stanley spokesman, declined all comment.
