Freddie Mac prices multi-family MBS deal

Freddie Mac announced on Thursday that its first issuance of securities backed by a 10-year floating rate multifamily loan had been priced, but some observers say more is needed.

The issuance totals $2.24bn but only $1.1bn in senior notes were offered to investors. The offered notes, which have a weighted average life of 9.39 years, were priced at 29bp over Libor, representing a yield of 0.4667%.
