Joe McCullough, a portfolio manager at Chandler Asset Management, a San Diego buy-side firm with more than
$1 billion under management, has left the firm and the fund management industry. Martin Cassel, executive v.p. and chief investment officer, says McCullough left Chandler to join an area manufacturing company as its director of finance. Cassel declined to provide more information and McCullough could not be reached for comment. Cassel's portfolio management responsibilities will be taken over by Ted Piorkowski who focuses on mortgages, asset-backeds, corporates and Treasuries.
