Banks divided over ABS liquidity in CRD IV
ABS analysts from Barclays Capital and Royal Bank of Scotland have reached opposite conclusions over what CRD IV could mean for ABS. Barclays argued on Monday evening that "the risk that ABS will not count towards bank regulatory liquidity is currently acute", while RBS led with "Liquidity rules more promising for ABS" on Monday morning.
