Ambac To Settle Securities Suits
Ambac Financial Group and its insurers have agreed to pay $27.1 million to settle charges by investors that it concealed the subprime mortgage involvement of its bond-insurance business and raised the prices of its securities by providing the market with allegedly misleading information.
