Barclays is said to be considering slashing compensation for its 24,000-strong Barclays Capital wing by between 25% and 30%.

Barclays is said to be considering slashing compensation for its 24,000-strong Barclays Capital wing by between 25% and 30%. Sources said the bank may also reduce the number of senior bankers—namely executive directors and managing directors—by 5%.
