Banks in Ireland, Italy and Spain need significantly more capital to cover potentially bad loans and clean up their balance sheets, according to Moody’s Investors Service.

Banks in Ireland, Italy and Spain need significantly more capital to cover potentially bad loans and clean up their balance sheets, according to Moody’s Investors Service. Moody’s also warned in its global market report that the eurozone crisis will weigh on banks’ creditworthiness this year.
