Goldman Sachs has hired Josh Hershman as an investment-grade trader. Hershman joins from Merrill Lynch where he was trading high-grade corporates. Paul Huchro, head of investment-grade trading at Goldman Sachs, declined to comment except to say Hershman has not started yet. Hershman, who was between jobs and could not be reached for comment, will trade telecoms. His last day at Merrill was roughly three weeks ago, according to a former colleague. Tom McCreary, head of investment-grade trading at Merrill, and Selena Morris, a spokeswoman at Merrill Lynch, did not return calls seeking comment by press time.
