UBS recently added Steve Margetis as a collateralized debt obligation structurer in its asset-backed group in New York, according to Jim Stehli, executive director. Margetis, who started earlier this month, moves over from American Capital Access, where he had worked on the CDO side.
The move to UBS marks something of a reunion for Margetis and Lirenn Tsai, who co-runs the group along with Stehli and is more focused on the daily transaction flow. They had previously worked together in the CDO structuring group at Prudential Securities.
