Charlie Henneman, a director in collateralized debt obligation structuring and operations at Indosuez Capital, and a former Standard & Poor's analyst, is leaving the structured finance industry. Henneman said his departure is precipitated by the pending merger of Crédit Agricole Indosuez and Crédit Lyonnais, as well as a desire to relocate out of the New York area. His departure follows that of Paul Travers, the former head of the bank loan team at Indosuez Capital (LMW, 3/22).
Henneman said he plans to join The Association of Investment Management and Research, the company that designates chartered financial analysts, as a v.p. in educational content development. Indosuez currently has five structured finance vehicles and $2 billion under management. Henneman referred questions about the merger to Michael Walsh, general counsel at Crédit Agricole, who did not return a call for comment. Charles Kobayashi, who was hired by Travers from Orix USA at the end of 2001, is now the head portfolio manager.
