Indosuez Director Leaves Ahead Of Merger

Charlie Henneman, a director in collateralized debt obligation structuring and operations at Indosuez Capital and a former Standard & Poor's analyst, is leaving the structured finance industry at the end of the week.

Charlie Henneman, a director in collateralized debt obligation structuring and operations at Indosuez Capital and a former Standard & Poor's analyst, is leaving the structured finance industry at the end of the week. He said he plans to join the Association For Investment Management and Research, the group that designates chartered financial analysts, as a v.p. in educational content development. Henneman said his departure is precipitated by the pending merger of Credit Agricole Indosuez and Credit Lyonnais, as well as a desire to relocate out of the New York area. The association is based in Charlottesville, Va.

Henneman's group currently has five structured finance vehicles and $2 billion under management. His departure follows that of Paul Travers, the former head of the bank loan team at Indosuez Capital. Henneman referred questions about the merger to Michael Walsh, general counsel at Credit Agricole. Walsh did not return a call.
