Wayne Wright, director of high-yield sales at Libertas Partners, has been hired in a new position as director of high-yield sales at Scotia Capital Markets, according to Jim Crandall, sales manager in New York. The hire comes after an addition Scotia Capital made a few months ago; the firm is also looking to hire another senior salesman in the next couple of months, noted Crandall. "Our high-yield group is looking to add another salesman as our business strategy drives the need for people," he said. Wright did not return a call by press time.
Wright reported to Gary Katcher, sales manager at Libertas Partners. Katcher said Wright has been replaced but declined to name his replacement.
