ABN AMRO in London has hired Stephen Lobb, European head of credit structuring at Commerzbank Securites, as global head of structured credit marketing. He started last week and reports to Christopher Lillingston-Price, global head of credit sales.
Lobb, who declined comment, will head a team of 12 structured credit marketers across Europe, Asia and the U.S., according to Lillingston-Price. Lobb fills a spot vacant for more than a year since the departure of Alistair Mullen, who moved internally to run sales for ABN AMRO's hedge fund initiative. Lillingston-Price said the firm has made several structured credit hires this year and Lobb's is the last one for now.
At Commerzbank, Lobb reported to Michael Staveley, global head of credit trading. Staveley declined comment on plans to replace Lobb.
