David Clifford, mortgage-backed securities salesman at Banc of America Securities in New York, has joined Barclays Capital, also in New York, in a similar role. Clifford, who started at Barclays recently, did not return a call or an e-mail. He will be a generalist mortgage salesman and will cover products including pass-through securities and collateralized mortgage obligations, according to a person familiar with Clifford's move. Further information about his responsibilities and reporting line could not be determined by press time.
At BofA, a former colleague referred inquiries to Jennifer DiClerico, spokeswoman, who declined comment.
