The Loan Syndications and Trading Association and The Clearinghouse Association have filed their joint amicus curiae brief supporting the bank lenders' appeal from the substantive consolidation ruling in the Owens Corning bankruptcy. The debtors' response brief is due Jan. 19; the banks' reply brief is due Jan. 26; and oral argument will be the week of Feb. 7. The brief was drafted by Mitch Seider and Alexandra Shapiro of Latham & Watkins.
