Kevin Dooley has left Deutsche Bank and is joining TD Securities as a senior par trader starting March 30. Dooley will report to Greg Hurley, head of sales and trading, who will remain involved in trading activities but will pass on trading responsibilities. Hurley declined comment and Dooley could not be reached.
Dooley was a v.p. at Deutsche Bank, responsible for par loan sales, reporting to Dan Toscano, head of North American loans. Dooley spent four years at Deutsche Bank. In 2003 he moved from being an analyst on the par desk to a sales role specifically focusing on commercial banks. The desk was directing more attention to this area as banks became more focused on risk and the pro rata was showing signs of life. Before Deutsche Bank, Dooley was a v.p. at Natexis Banques Populaires. Officials at Deutsche Bank confirmed Dooley's departure.
TD has brought on board three sales people since last fall. Marla Wilmer came over from the restructuring group and TD recently added Erik Preusse. Anand Ramachandran joined TD last year from Guggenheim Partners (LMW, 9/8).
