CDO Trio Bolts Deutsche Bank For J.P. Morgan

J.P. Morgan has hired a trio of collateralized debt obligation professionals from Deutsche Bank.

J.P. Morgan has hired a trio of collateralized debt obligation professionals from Deutsche Bank. The three are Sud Subrahmanyan, director in CDO marketing; Vivek Mathew, v.p. in CDO structuring; and John Passaglia, associate in CDO structuring. They will join J.P. Morgan in New York in similar roles, according to an official familiar with their moves. They reported to Michael Lamont and Michael Herzig, managing directors in the CDO group. Neither returned calls.

The three hires are being reunited with Brian Zeitlin, their former boss and co-head of the global structured credit business at J.P. Morgan. He joined from Deutsche Bank with a handful of other CDO professionals last year (BW, 8/30). Zeitlin did not return a call and members of the trio either declined comment or did not return calls.

Meanwhile, Deutsche Bank recently added Tony Pawlowski, director in CDO distribution and marketing, from Citigroup for a new role, according to a Deutsche Bank official
