Nomura Securities International has hired David Hogan, managing director in structured credit at HSBC Securities, as managing director in credit sales in New York. Hogan referred calls to Ralph Piscitelli, Nomura spokesman, who confirmed the hire but declined further comment. Juanita Gutierrez, spokeswoman for HSBC, declined comment.
Nomura also recently hired Dean Chamberlain as head of fixed-income sales from Banc of America Securities, where he headed distribution of structured products for the Midwest.
