Deutsche Bank in London has hired Michael Boam, high-yield analyst focusing on capital goods at Putnam Investments in London. He recently started at the bank as the basic materials/heavy and light industrials analyst on its European high-yield team. Boam reports to Lee Hope, who heads up the European high-yield research team. Neither Boam nor Hope returned calls by press time.
At Putnam, Boam reported to Anton Simon, managing director and senior portfolio manager. Simon said Putnam is planning to replace Boam.
