Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. is going to launch its second hedge fund June 1. One quarter of this high-yield distressed strategy vehicle will be allocated in KKR's private equity deals, according to a potential investor. A KKR spokeswoman declined to comment. Nino Fanlo and David Netjes, both formerly of Wells Fargo, will manage the fund. KKR's first hedge fund, the $1 billion KKR Strategic Capital Fund, is expected to launch around the same time (CIN, 2/27).
Details on the second fund's name, dollar amount, investment minimum, fees, prime broker and lockup were not available.
