MoneyGram Settles Shareholder Subprime Suit
MoneyGram International, the payment service company, has agreed to pay shareholders $80 million to settle a lawsuit in which they charged the company had concealed deterioration of investments in subprime and other asset-backed securities that led to $1.6 billion in losses.
