LyondellBasell’s collateral allocation mechanism loan rose about two points today following the company’s announcement that it had reached a settlement with a group of creditors against the banks advisors and management, arguing that its 2007 leveraged buyout set the company up to enter Chapter 11 due to an unmanageable debtload.
